Lew is a world-weary kind of huckster who has a lot of ideas and opinions about things, some of which may actually be correct. He's been around. Maybe he used to work in tinseltown. You just never know with Lew.

Cosmo is your classic oddball detective, as kooky as Ace Ventura, as inept as Inspector Clouseau, but with his own brand of crazy. His social graces are lacking, he’s a magnet for especially unattractive women, and he listens to Weird Al in his car (in fact, he is a Weird Al junkie). His prominent quirk is that he struggles with the word “foresight,” and is always confusing it with similar words such as “foreplay,” “foreskin,” and “forecast.” This makes for some awkward and often hilarious slip-ups.

Joel is the ideas guy and by nature spends a lot of time with his head somewhere near the clouds. Part performer, part awkward puppy, he wants to be good with people, but has a knack for sticking his foot in his mouth. His sister Liz is his best friend, as well as his business partner, and he'd be totally lost without her. He's fun loving, mostly carefree, at least that's what he tells himself, and he'd do anything for almost anyone. Shrewd businessman he is not.

Carla is used to being the center of attention. She is very certain of herself and convinced that she has been wronged.

Thanks to her brother Joel, she has a great sense of humor, despite her desire to keep things under control and maintain the status quo. Joel is her best friend, as well as her business partner, and he always keeps her from taking herself too seriously. She's an idea harnessing machine and excels at taking Joel's hundred and one ideas and turning them in to actionable assets for their company. And lucky for all those involved, she has the patience of a saint.
