Character Description

Derrick is persistent and way more patient than the average person. However, he has a sarcastic tone that doesn't help his situation. As the scene draws on, he gets more and more irritated, but ultimately is so caught off guard by the Clerk's demeanor that he is stunned and can't quite believe what has just happened to him.

Scene Context

Derrick is a normal guy who's just trying to get his IRS paperwork in order for the tax season. However, he's run into a problem that Google simply cannot help him solve and in his ignorance, he has decided to go to the local IRS office to get the information he needs to complete his paperwork.

Except the Clerk at the office truly could not care less, and is making that quite clear.
