Character Description

Maggie is a young mother to two twin boys. Energetic and pretty, she does her best to dress well but is often disheveled and scatterbrained. Motherhood is taking a toll on her since she also has to work a full-time job. She loves her family dearly but struggles to find balance with work and the demands of home. Her guilt over being a working mother is what drove her to therapy initially.

Scene Context

Maggie, a young mother, is meeting with her counselor, Dr. Kleeman (45). She is worn out as a working mother with two twin boys and struggles to find balance in her life. Maggie likes Dr. Kleeman, and has been meeting with her regularly for several months, but she often feels that her counselor simply cannot relate to the issues she faces on a daily basis.
