Great choices. Less is more. Eyes told the story more than movement. Loved the performance. Good job.

Couple of things: This is small because your entrance was quick. Some will disagree but for my money, always start in the frame. You can then move toward the camera but the CD is already seeing you and you're not giving away even a second of the short time you have. Second, don't exit the frame. The CD is left looking at the back of your hair. You can begin the exit, but keep your face forward so you can freeze frame and your still being seen. Also...was that a phone? It looked like a toy. You're right to use a phone (no fists) but the colors... No. I Can't believe you have no IMDb credits.

Beautiful timing and I loved the downplay, Madelin. You subtlety show her concern for her niece yet there is a confident determination to continue in her duty. She was believable in a very serious situation.

Great work Madelin! Technical stuff was perfect. You definitely look right for the role and were clearly passionate about the scene.

Some thoughts - you're the best person and most qualified for the job. How does it really make you feel that you're being sidelined? The criminal could go free without your involvement. The stakes are super high. I'd love to see more fire (without losing control). I have to admit that the pink phone took me out of the illusion!

Nice job!

Madelin,
You did very well. You really looked the part. You had your lines down very well and had some good drive in the character. There could have been more emotional investment however you were solid. Perhaps in the future, make sure you choose a prop that looks like what it should be. The pink walkie talkie slightly distracted me because the rest of your costume and demeanor was so true to the scene. Overall good job.

Nice work with this character. I'd encourage you to have your reader not be so monotone sounding. also the volume on the reader could be a little louder. the prop used at the end for your "phone" was a little comical. It looked like a child's toy upside down. I was so invested in your performance and then this silly pink and white thing popped into frame and almost blew it. Try to use something more subtle or keep the "phone" low and out of frame after dialing. "put it on speaker phone" something to not distract from your performance. other than that well done!

Good job! Nice close up of your face. I liked the little smile at the end.
