Penny LeLeux as Francine
Character Description
Francine is a sweet, compassionate woman, always ready to dispense wisdom and understanding to the younger ladies in her charge. Thanks to her personality, she makes for a good manager in the business realm. She garners respect not through brute force but through compassion. Colbie has been working under her for about two years now. Because Francine has seen how hard Colbie's worked and how devoted she is, it pains Francine to have to let Colbie go.
Scene Description
This scene was taken from a narrative about a young woman named Colbie whose life is turned upside down by her out-of-control porn addiction.
In the scene, Colbie's boss, who, earlier in the story, stumbled across a smutty website on Colbie's work computer, is put in the awkward position of firing Colbie. The two women get along fairly well, which makes the task all the harder.

ActorGood job! I liked the checking over the shoulders at 1:27 before mentioning what you saw. "Poor Sara almost killed over" is a good comedic line. I believe the character would have shown a little more compassion which would lend to the comedy. Framing of the shot and sound was good.

ActorYour performance was very good, lots of great moments! However, your mic was incredibly loud and I had to immediately turn the volume down very low to get a comfortable level. If you're using an external mic I would move it farther away, or invest in an external mic if you don't have one (lots of good, affordable options on amazon). Otherwise, nice work!

ActorNice work Penny! Loved your motherly concern for her. Technical stuff was great, though your reader could have been a little louder.
Some thoughts - I was a little confused when you turned to look around before saying the "patty cake" line. You're in an office with the door closed, so your conversation was already private. I'd love to see more of an arc where your character starts light-hearted at the opening, then gets more serious when you break the bad news. Just my 2 cents! Great job!
