But underneath his unassuming exterior, Ian has a secret life in the shadows... and it's starting to catch up to him.
Scene Description
Ian and Leslie are coworkers in a news organization. With a tight deadline looming, Ian has been MIA, until Leslie barges into the office men's room to discover him bruised up and disheveled, attempting to clean up a bloody nose.

Actress | Writer | FilmmakerHey Jacob, really appreciated slight build of the "it's no big deal" tone just before the "Get out!" The outburst felt very natural and grounded. Earlier I might try having a moment of "oh crap" as she gasps and you realize that you are going to have to talk about it. Really nice motivated reaction to her last line and the conversation you know is coming later and very nice button of fumbling tying of the tie and tossing it aside. Enjoyed your work.

ActressJacob, Great framing, eye lines, pacing, and levels. I love your delivery of “I fell,” & the little chuckle before you say the line. So far, you’re the only one I’ve seen do that & try to laugh it off/downplay the injury. This sets you up for a beautiful beat change in “What are you doing in here?” I also love how you go back to “Yeah,” & then “No,I’m fine” trying to cover it up. Again, this allows you to build to a frustrated “Just get out.” Then the beat changes beautifully again with, “I’m sorry…” Solid, believable, nice emotional range!
