Tami Dattile

Actress from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
ABScore 91.6

Character Description
To cope with the lingering trauma of her childhood, Brinn has embraced a self-destructive lifestyle, seeking escape in wild nights of partying and fleeting connections with strangers. Her default approach to men has always been seduction—a protective mechanism that shields her vulnerability but leaves her feeling hollow. As her carefully constructed facade begins to crumble, Brinn is forced to confront the painful truths she’s spent years avoiding. For the first time, she encounters a man who genuinely cares for her, yet she finds herself paralyzed, unsure how to respond.

Scene Description
Eric, Brinn's childhood best friend whom she hasn't seen for a little over a decade has invited her over for dinner to reconnect and reminisce. There is definitely attraction between the two.

I loved this Tami! You had a great connection with him. And I really loved your nervous laughter! You were a bundle of nerves - which could move the story along so well with a later conversation about those nerves. Very fun to watch! Excellent job!

The black space all around works against you. If I could at least see a wall behind you I could feel like you're actually in a room rather than just an abyss of black. At the beginning of the scene try to build a moment before instead of just dropping in. I could see your "at rest" face.. then you dropped-in to the character which wasn't believable - help us feel like you are already the character from the moment we see you. At the end - let it breathe and resolve with another moment or two after the script ends. Abrupt endings are the last things we see, make it memorable in a good way

That was excellent! I LOVED how you brought some personality into this character, especially the twang you put into "redneck" and the way you expressed genuine connection with the man. I would've believed you'd known each other for years. Good job.

Tami, good lighting and sound. At the start when looking at the surroundings, keep your face toward camera so you prevent the profile angles. Good job with the food...which can be tricky. Only other suggestion I have is to edit your audition so the 'thumbnail' that casting sees is an attractive shot of you. Move forward or back even a frame or two so you're tongue isn't visible in the frame before the video starts. You're right on target with the acting here and just need to spruce up the presentation.

Good job! Your laughing is so good. Nice tight shot We really get to see your face. Your opening shot you look down at him and then off to the side. Try looking around at bit. It almost looks like you were not ready. Take one step to the left leaving your face open to more space. Nice on the eating. You can always hold the bowl in front of your mouth. Same action just cover so you dont have to eat each time. Finally, I prefer glassware with no logos or writing. Sometimes it is important to the plot. If it is not I don't want the audience spending time on trying to read the glass.

Hello Tami - it was SO much fun to watch you! You looked very intentional with each line, yet it all flowed very well and cohesive to your character. Loved all the expressions; they were done believably. The only line that through me off was right before you took the bite and said something like "oh, well..!". Job very well done. You are interesting and talented. :) Dawn
