Jeannie Garcia as Jessica
Character Description
Jessica is nothing if not totally serene and put-together. She abides by the platitudes she sells her patients and the readers of her new self-help book. No one can make her lose her cool- or so she thought.
Scene Description
Jessica Brown is a renowned new age therapist, complete with her photo on the cover of her own book and ready to go on her book tour. So the last thing she expected was for Nona, her biggest train wreck patient, to quit, rejecting all Jessica stands for.

ActorVery believable! I liked the pacing you used in this, and overall you made some good choices. I loved the laugh at the end and the pause to let her try to figure out what her issue was on her own. The pillow throw was just right, not overdone. It felt like you wanted to scream by the end. Good work.

ActorGood job! Lights, sound, and frame were good. I liked how you regather yourself at 1:56. Nice reactions to Nona's lines.

ActorAwesome job Jeannie! Technical stuff was perfect. I definitely got the therapist vibe and could see you in this role. Loved your character's arc!
The end was great, though could have been cut off about 15 seconds earlier. Just a thought.
Excellent work!

Actor | WriterYour interpretation of the character was perfectly realized, so many varied emotions that expertly matched the dialogue! I liked how you ended it, returning to where had you left off. It was a joy to watch your transformation into being your next patient!
Loved this!

ActressHaving watched this scene several differnt times, and played several different ways... You nailed it.
I really liked the way you opened and closed with the physical mediation. It seemed like something your character would absolutely do.
I think your choice to draw out the "your sister" line grounded your position as a therapist/authority. You did a great job showing your authentic frustration with Nona during the last half of the exchange too.
Bravo!
