Character Description
Cosmo is your classic oddball detective, as kooky as Ace Ventura, as inept as Inspector Clouseau, but with his own brand of crazy. His social graces are lacking, he’s a magnet for especially unattractive women, and he listens to Weird Al in his car (in fact, he is a Weird Al junkie). His prominent quirk is that he struggles with the word “foresight,” and is always confusing it with similar words such as “foreplay,” “foreskin,” and “forecast.” This makes for some awkward and often hilarious slip-ups.

Scene Description
This snippet was taken from an idea for an absurdist comedy.

Cosmo Mallet, oddball and clumsy wisecracker, is paired with the highly polished, straight-laced Stuart Jepsen. Together, they must catch a serial killer who targets the elderly. The ruckus at the department store is centered around the murder of an elderly night watchman, the latest victim of the elusive antagonist. In the absurd world of the story, the police department is selling tickets to shoppers and allowing them to see the crime scene, which is why there’s so many people hanging around when Cosmo and Stuart show up.

Soooo good!! This was a really great fit for you! Only neg. 's (and I'm being very picky) was the glove thing went on a little too long and I wanted to see a little more change in tone during the ..."why hasn't he been brought to the coroner yet.." you stumbled a little on the line and I think it got you off balance for a bit but you recovered it and ended strong!!

Chris, great job. You had me smiling start to finish. The glove bit was genius!
I don't know if you were pulling from anyone for inspiration but definitely nailed the slapstick feel. Leslie Nielsen would be proud, and you'd give Jim Carrey a run for his money in this scene.
I thought your choices and presence for this character were great. Well done!

Good job! I really enjoyed this. Nice job of getting right up to the "going over the top" line.

Chris, great use of your physicality in the frame embodying your character and also creating comedic moments. I can't think of a thing that would improve this. Nicely done.
