Character Description
Jessa left her troubled home at 16, winging it to the coast to pursue her dreams of acting. After years of working in less-than-stellar projects, she's finally hit her stride, owing perhaps to being half of Hollywood's new power couple. But when her star boyfriend dumps her just before her big premiere, she can think of no one better to escort her on the red carpet than John, her first love. The problem is he knows the real Jessa, and no one else in this town does. He's not afraid to call her out, but she's also one to dish it right back to him.

Scene Description
Struggling pastor John (20s/30s) has just run into his childhood sweetheart Jessa (20s/30s) who followed her dreams of becoming an actress and is now rocketing to stardom. She gives him a tour of her upscale L.A. apartment as they get reacquainted... bringing up the recollection they didn't part ways on the best of terms.

Becky this was a good audition. I thought your physical acting was excellent (removing purse and positioning sunglasses etc.)
I could tell the moment your character let's her guard down and transitions into being more honest about her freedom and it being lonely, I wish that was even more drawn out.
When you deflect that energy back at your reader at the end of the scene it showed a good "guarded energy".
Nicely done.

Good job! I really like your transition from happy and proud of your apartment to kind of hurt by the line "its good". Also good with the lines about lonely and scary. Another choice would be to let it hang almost uncomfortably. Feeling the scary. Just a thought. Your technicals were good, lighting, sound, and frame. There is a reason you score so high on these tapes. All those reasons show here.

Nice shifts in emotion and expression. I liked the thinking eyes 1:11 too. Appreciate your performance.

Amazing as always Becky! Loved the connection with your scene partner and your character's arc. I can definitely see you in this role!

One question - When you say "I need you", is it sincere or manipulative? It felt more manipulative - of course, either choice would fit this character. Just curious! Nice work!
