Character Description
Francine is a sweet, compassionate woman, always ready to dispense wisdom and understanding to the younger ladies in her charge. Thanks to her personality, she makes for a good manager in the business realm. She garners respect not through brute force but through compassion. Colbie has been working under her for about two years now. Because Francine has seen how hard Colbie's worked and how devoted she is, it pains Francine to have to let Colbie go.
Scene Description
This scene was taken from a narrative about a young woman named Colbie whose life is turned upside down by her out-of-control porn addiction.
In the scene, Colbie's boss, who, earlier in the story, stumbled across a smutty website on Colbie's work computer, is put in the awkward position of firing Colbie. The two women get along fairly well, which makes the task all the harder.

ActorDonna, this is one of the best versions of this scene that I have viewed!! Still, for an audition 'tape' there is room for improvement. Your framing and lighting are very good...better than most! The one glaring thing that can be improved is the audio, the most important of these three (audio, lighting, background). There is a LOT of camera noise. Invest in an inexpensive wireless (or wired if you prefer) mic. I got a Hollyland Lark A1 for my iPhone that costs $40 and has great sound. Get something you like and can afford. There are lots of choices on Amazon for whichever camera you use .

ActressI really enjoyed this. You have such expressive eyes, very pretty as well, and I could really feel the compassion you had for the other character. Your performance was very believable as the woman described in the character description. I also loved the ending, the last line specifically, because your comedic timing and facial expressions were so good!
