ActressInteresting choices with this tape.
Your character almost comes across with a villainous vibe. There were times when it seemed rushed, I would've liked to have seen you draw out on some of the intensity you gave Ray.
I really appreciated the emotion and new approach to the scene. Good job.

ActressBenjamin you made this look like it came straight out of a film. Brilliantly done. I am taking notes. You dressed the part, your lighting and close up camera position was perfect. Great job!

ActressHi Benjamin! I really enjoyed your tape. I also really enjoyed the choice of the background making it look and feel like you are in an office space or police station. I would like to have seen a little bit more of an arch with the scene but I really could see the intensity in your eyes-which is great! Overall, great job!

ActorGood job! Basics were spot on, lights, sound, framing. Even the background added to the scene without being distracting. I really loved your character turn when you slam your hand down on the desk.

ActorBen, Great work on this. I'd hire you in a NY minute. I'm going to make a couple of suggestions about the self-tape setup. This background works perfectly for the scene but some CDs (if this were a real audition) might balk at it not being blank. The one thing I would improve is your audio. I hear camera noise so I'm assuming you're using the camera's mic. A good Hollyland, DJI, Rode or other brand off camera, wireless mic for under $50 (smartphone or DSLR/Mirrorless) will make the audio sound pro. I really appreciated the way you handled the gum, btw! So many overdid it. Well done.

Actor | WriterSuperb job, Benjamin! I believe you have grasped the heart and soul of Tackett - a very layered interpretation of a manipulative and complex man, with a playful, unorthodox sense of humor.
Bravo, Benjamin!
