Madison Davis as Kylie
Character Description
Kylie is a modern teenage girl. She's a little snotty, thinks she knows everything, and couldn't be bothered to smile. However, it's a facade and not a good one. She is smart, and doesn't hide it. She's the kind of kid who gets straight A's and pretends like she doesn't care.
She wants what is best for her dad and her family but has a hard time expressing it without coming off like a brat. She is willing to make hard decisions to make her point, but would rather just be a teenager who doesn't have to act like a parent.
Scene Description
Michael (40) and his daughter Kylie (16) have an argument over the previous night's experience. Kylie went to watch movies at a friends house, drank 3 alcoholic spritz waters, and came home drunk.
The two have a dynamic that's on thin ice as it is. Michael is having a type of mid-life crisis, recently divorced, and is trying to "find himself" by diving into his lost masculinity. Kylie is actually a good kid at heart, but can't stand how her dad is behaving, and is pushing the envelope. On top of all this, a creature in the woods is haunting the property.

ActorGreat job with the attitude here. I enjoyed this take a lot! Nice work Madison!

ActorAwesome work Madison! Your emotional prep was fantastic! You were very connected to your dad, listening and responding well. Your arc was great!
Consider tightening your frame a little more, top of head to mid chest. You might also make those pauses between lines in the first 45 seconds a little shorter. They felt drawn out. I assumed you didn't have a reader and was giving space for where your dad's lines would be.
Excellent job!

ActorGreat job on this audition. I like how you layered her flippant attitude with a love for your dad and your obvious hurt feelings. It's interesting to watch the brewing emotions as you feel misunderstood. Also, slowly understanding you made a mistake and how that affects you... from your perspective and current life situations.
