Paula Rafferty as Francine
Character Description
Francine is a sweet, compassionate woman, always ready to dispense wisdom and understanding to the younger ladies in her charge. Thanks to her personality, she makes for a good manager in the business realm. She garners respect not through brute force but through compassion. Colbie has been working under her for about two years now. Because Francine has seen how hard Colbie's worked and how devoted she is, it pains Francine to have to let Colbie go.
Scene Description
This scene was taken from a narrative about a young woman named Colbie whose life is turned upside down by her out-of-control porn addiction.
In the scene, Colbie's boss, who, earlier in the story, stumbled across a smutty website on Colbie's work computer, is put in the awkward position of firing Colbie. The two women get along fairly well, which makes the task all the harder.

ActressI loved the internal thoughts happening between the lines. I could really tell what you thought of her, and how you felt about what you found on her browser. A different take on this character with being more cold and judgy. I liked it!
I had a hard time hearing you at some points due to the white noise in the background, but I could still follow along because of your body language. Nice!
I enjoyed watching. Thanks for sharing!

Actor | WriterOh my gosh, Paula, that was deliciously played, malicious, like a Valentine's card oozing with cold-blooded venom. So layered and meticulously executed. Bravo!

ActorGreat job Paula! I could easily tell the boss/employee relationship. Loved how you started smile-y and transitioned to a serious mode when you had to deliver the bad news.
A couple of thoughts - the relationship seemed more distant than coworkers who have worked together for a while and gotten along well. Of course either choice works. The audio was distracting - It was a little echo-y and I could barely hear your reader.
Just my 2 cents! Nice work!

ActressI loved the strong commitment this character had to being professional as she carried out an unpleasant duty. You have a lot of power onscreen!

Actorvery good performance. technical issue (and maybe it's just me) but I had a hard hearing what your reader was saying.
