Britt McDanel as Brinn Rainey
Character Description
To cope with the lingering trauma of her childhood, Brinn has embraced a self-destructive lifestyle, seeking escape in wild nights of partying and fleeting connections with strangers. Her default approach to men has always been seduction—a protective mechanism that shields her vulnerability but leaves her feeling hollow. As her carefully constructed facade begins to crumble, Brinn is forced to confront the painful truths she’s spent years avoiding. For the first time, she encounters a man who genuinely cares for her, yet she finds herself paralyzed, unsure how to respond.
Scene Description
Eric, Brinn's childhood best friend whom she hasn't seen for a little over a decade has invited her over for dinner to reconnect and reminisce. There is definitely attraction between the two.

ActressThe framing is a bit too tight and lots of headspace happening. Try lowering the camera and shoot from about chest up. Seeing only your head robs us of the opportunity to see a little other body language.
the scene felt a bit rushed. I wanted to see it relax a bit since this character is kinda still "broken". Take a breath - bring the reader (or just your eye line) a little closer/ tighter to camera so it feels like a more intimate scene rather than talking from across the room. overall nice performance, just felt too rushed

Actress | Writer | FilmmakerHi Britt! Thank you for recording my scene. A few suggestions… your framing isn’t ideal. You will want to lower the camera so there is less head room. This framing is distracting and takes away from your performance, not to mention it makes you appear really short. Also, you need to let the scene breathe. Take your time, really connect with what is happening. It felt rushed and like you were just performing lines. There’s definitely some potential here just keep on pushing and learning. I look forward to seeing more of your tapes as you grow!
