Detective Gildard
Male Middle-Aged (46-55)

Character Description

Detective Gildard has a quirky sense of humor that is even more accentuated by his tendency to suddenly switch moods. His weakness is that he always thinks everyone is up to no good, but he's a detective because he's often times right about that. He knows it too, but doesn't lord it over anyone. At least not in an overt way.

Gildard is an open book. Maybe too open, in fact. However, he leaves out pertinent information not because he's hiding anything but because he believes the secretive to be obvious.

Scene Context

Typical interrogation room scene. Doc, the suspect, has just been taken in but no charges yet. Detective Gildard knows something isn't quite right about the murder that took place recently, and is setting Doc up to reveal information.

*Note: This scene has a transition from one room to another, but can still be taped in a continuous manner without confusion - or the actor can choose to only do the interrogation room scene.
