Character Description

You know the saying, "never judge a book by it's cover"? Well it's for people like Ruby Riener that it was coined. She is sugar and spice, and everything nice... or so she'd have you believe. Under her cavity-inducing sweetness lies a cunning wolf. She wears "little old lady" like crocheted camouflage to get away with murder... literally. She's unscrupulous, smart as a whip, and she'll use that whip without hesitation, should you dare to cross her. It's Granny's way, or the highway.

Scene Context

Ruby has spent her entire life building her empire and she's not about to let some sniveling, fresh-faced kid come in and ruin it for her. A recently promoted Matt finds himself the new "airfield manager" and head of ground operations, which he will soon discover, is not really head of anything. There's a lot more going on at work than he realizes, and he's about to get a rude awakening. His "boss," Carl, has sent him to Sunny Pines Care Facility to introduce himself to Ruby. True to form, Ruby welcomes Matt into the fold as she welcomes everyone, with a sugary-sweet smile...and an ultimatum.
