Character Description

Abraham, known locally as "Scraps", only trusts three people: his cat, George Washington, and himself. The cynical old man learned at an early age that you can't depend on others. And after years of saving, scavanging, and collecting -- he doesn't have to.

Scene Context

After moving next door to a grouchy hoarder, a kind coach learns that the messy neighbor is at risk of losing everything.

Old man "Scraps" has deemed Colt tolerable, so far untainted by the snobbish community. The football coach finds himself an unwitting mediator between the neighborhood and the paranoid prepper.

Colt checks on Scraps after hearing that law enforcement had visited his home.
