Character Description

Clara is a young girl who is the voice of reason to her slightly younger brother, Henry who has an active imagination. She tries to be a calming influence on him.

Scene Context

Clara and her twin brother Henry are in their room waiting for Christmas morning. They have a spirited discussion and experience a Christmas surprise when their mother returns unexpectedly from caring for their grandmother. The story which this scene is from takes place in the early 1900s.
