Character Description

Mike (20) is the older and favored son of Frank, but due to his "quick to act" nature, he's been labeled an idiot by his father all his life. It’s a dynamic he uses to control his two sons by making Mike feel like an idiot and Ralf like a coward.

Scene Context

A small Texas town set in the 1880's. Another child has gone missing from the town. Mike and Ralf decide they have to do something different and go together looking for her in the woods with shotguns but without the rest of the town. In the quiet of the woods, they have a heart to heart about labels.
